Sunday we have a quick spiritual service and 2 or 3 bands wrapping things up around 11:00 am.
There is no admission, this is a benefit for Hospice of Crawford county all proceeds are generated from 50-50 raffles, donations and quilt raffles.
The Mountain Thyme Ramblers will be playing Friday at 8:30 tentatively. (sometimes things run a little late due to raffles)

Why I Tune
Short answer ...
I Like it
*These pictures of sound water images are the result of a water surface that is brought into vibration by a certain frequency. The result of this vibrating water surface is an interference pattern of wavelets which shows the hidden geometry of sound. Interference is the common functioning of several frequencies on the same time and place. Because the wavelets are reflected against an outside partition to the middle, the wavelets reinforce each other at certain places whereas at other places the wavelets raise each other. The result is an interference pattern of wavelets. *Source: http://www.watersoundimages.com
SONIC GEOMETRY: THE LANGUAGE OF FREQUENCY AND FORM
Note from Tom: I think this “Sonic Geometry” video is the most compelling and interesting explanation of the value and origin of A-432 tuning, some clarification is in order. I source this information from this website: http://www.roelhollander.eu/en/432-tuning/432-the-factor-9-15-tone-temperament/
IMPORTANT FOOTNOTES ABOUT THE MOVIE “SONIC GEOMETRY:
There are some major mistakes in the mathematical grid of the movie. Some numbers listed are simple miscalculations, but a more crucial mistake is that one note is missing in the scale!!!
B in column 2 has to be 468 instead of 456, 643 in column 3 has to be 648 and 3755 in column 5 has to be 3744.
135.9 (between C# and D in column 1)
243 (between 234 in column 1 and 525 in column 2)
486 (between 456 in column 1 and 504 - missing - column 3)
